RARE- Monumental Burmese Torso of Buddha-19thC-
This is the jewel of our collection. Asian art can't get any better than that!!! we have here a huge red dry lacquered torso of Buddha from Burma, Shan style estimated to be from 1850/1870. The item is in great condition and is a museum quality piece. Please take a look at our pictures and see for yourself. This is amazing; the head is twice bigger than a human head. Just imagine this red Buddha in your living room or at your office. I have seen once something a little bit similar retailing at $10 000 in Hong Kong. A magnificent treasure. Comes in 2 parts: the torso and the stand.
